Incredible experience from start to finish. I could not imagine a better experience buying a vehicle. Every step of the journey was impeccable, and I truly felt like the employees were looking out for my best interest. For 8 months, I searched for a very specific used Ford F-150 Tremor. In January, I found a listing from Tim Dahle Ford in Spanish Fork with an incredible price that almost seemed too good to be true. I inquired through Autotrader, and within minutes received a text from a true gentleman named Nelson. After a few messages, we arranged a time for me to come look at the truck. Nelson was such a nice, chill guy and incredibly easy to work with. He answered my million questions and was very low-pressure. In fact, there was zero pressure to buy the truck during that first visit. The previous dozen or so dealership experiences had felt completely opposite, so I was expecting a high-pressure situation. Instead, there was no pressure at all. Over the next few days, I had even more questions, and Nelson was extremely responsive through dozens of texts and phone calls. A week later, we arranged for me to bring the truck to a local mechanic. I definitely recommend doing this when buying a used vehicle. It cost $100 and was worth every penny. There were a few minor concerns, and Nelson went to bat for me, alleviated my concerns, and convinced the dealership to repair a few things before I agreed to buy it. My interaction with the finance guy, Brock, was equally excellent. I had many questions about financing and the various extended warranties. He spent a long time with me, never made me feel rushed, and was very patient while I called my wife a few times for her approval. I always felt like I was his only customer. Brock handled every objection I had about the extended warranty coverage perfectly and made me feel completely at ease. We bought the truck, and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in a very long time. Six months later, the rear speakers blew, so I contacted Tim Dahle to ask about my options. I worked with a stud named Mike Butterfield in the Service Department. Just when I thought this dealership couldn’t get any better, I was pleasantly surprised to find that its service employees are just as great to work with. Mike patiently answered my many questions about the truck and service warranty and guided me through the process of using the warranty I had purchased. The speakers were fully covered, and they fixed everything good as new. Mike even arranged a loaner vehicle during the repairs. I definitely recommend getting an extended warranty on a used vehicle. You will absolutely regret not having one if something goes wrong. My three kids will be driving in the next few years, and I know exactly who I’ll work with when it’s time to purchase another used vehicle: my man Nelson and his crew at Tim Dahle Ford. I’ll be honest: I initially had some hesitation because I had read some negative reviews online. However, a dealership that sells thousands of vehicles is naturally going to have some outliers who have a bad experience. A lot of those nasty reviews are probably coming from nasty people who complain about literally everything in their life. What doesn’t happen nearly enough are positive reviews from people like me who are completely satisfied with their experience. It took me 9 months of snoozing a daily reminder on my phone to finally sit down and write the review I had been composing in my mind all year. Huge shoutout to Nelson, Brock, and Mike Butterfield. Amazing crew. I’m extremely happy with my entire experience.
